We have been married since June 2002, but have been together since June of '97. We have a dog, Rustee, who is spoiled rotten. We don't have any kids yet, but have been trying since '06. (Read about our infertility struggles in the posts on the right) Although it's been a hard road, we can see God's hand in everything. We have faith that He will bless us with more than we can even imagine! Get to know us below:
I am an LPC and work for a private Christian agancy in Dallas where I do mostly play therapy & marriage counseling. I graduated from ACU, but went to both ACU and Harding Univ. I taught 1st and 3rd grades for 6 years while I worked on a double Master's degree. I enjoy spending time with friends, shopping, & shoes (much to Ben's dismay)!!! The past 4 years have been tough, but we are looking forward to the future!!!
Meet Ben
Ben is a Civil Engineer & the smartest person I know! He graduated from Texas Tech in 2003 with many honors (including top engineering student). He loves all things sports...especially basketball...and even more specifically, University of Kentucky basketball. He may take a while to warm up, but he DOES talk alot, just quietly...if you know him, you know that you have to listen because when he speaks it's either going to be profound/wise or sarcastic/funny.
Meet Rustee
Rustee Blue is our first child. He is a 6 year old malteese and we just love him to pieces! He is Mr. Personality with a dash of attitude! He loves peanut butter and cheese. He is a "daddy's boy" and loves to run and play with Ben but loves to cuddle with Kristina and runs to his mommy when he's scared or sick. He hates loud things and things that smell...hopefully he will adjust well when we have babies :{
